NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — New Haven police are investigating a reported armed robbery on Thursday evening.
Officers responded to the area of Hallock Street and Congress Avenue around 8 p.m., where the victim told them he had just met with an acquaintance who robbed him.

The victim told police they went inside one of the buildings together and when they got to the second-floor stairwell, the subject displayed a handgun and held it to the victim’s stomach.
