2 Waterbury men arrested on narcotics charges following traffic stop

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Two people were arrested on narcotics charges following a traffic stop in Waterbury, police said.

Police said at around 2:17 p.m. Tuesday, they were patrolling the area of Walnut Street and North Walnut Street when a traffic stop was conducted that led police to seize 3.7 grams of fentanyl, 264 grams of marijuana and $923.

Savory Trueheart, 38, of Waterbury and Rondrae Rogers, 38, of Waterbury were both charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.

Truehart was released on a $50,000 bond. He is pending court arraignment on Jan. 16…
