Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited the wildfire-stricken area of Altadena, California, to assist with relief efforts. Witnesses described them as somber and visibly moved as they toured the devastated neighborhood for 45 minutes.
The couple was joined by city officials and a team, carefully observing the destruction without touching anything. Earlier, they participated in another relief event alongside Jennifer Garner.
Garner volunteered at a pop-up kitchen run by World Central Kitchen, serving meals to evacuees and first responders. She spoke to MSNBC about her survivor’s guilt, as her home survived the fire while a church friend lost their life in the tragedy.
