The Laurens County Museum Revolutionary War Lecture Series continues on Tuesday, January 21, at 7:00 pm, with Durant Ashmore speaking about the life, times, and military achievements of South Carolina General Thomas Sumter.
Ashmore, a historian and battlefield preservationist, will highlight the battles and events fought in South Carolina that turned the tide of the Patriots toward victory.
