Three days after having a winning streak snapped against NCISAA 4A powerhouse High Point Wesleyan, Grace Christian’s men’s basketball team got back on track in a barnburner at the house that Tracy McGrady built.
The Crusaders hit the road for a game at Mount Zion in Durham, the school that basketball Hall of Famer McGrady led to a high school national championship in the 1990s. The Mighty Warriors are not nearly so strong today, but remain a tough opponent, and Grace just did hold them off for a 77-74 victory.
The Crusaders (10-6 overall) won for the seventh time in eight games. Grace entered the game as the 10th-ranked team in the NCISAA 3A ranks, according to MaxPreps…
