LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) — Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be in the cockpit of an airplane The Florida Air Museum in Lakeland has plenty of flight simulators visitors can actually try out themselves.

This gem began as a ‘mini museum’ in a hangar back in the 1980s but now has a collection of homebuilt and experimental aircraft.
