Woman charged with passing ‘green leafy substance’ to inmate during South Carolina prison visit

LEE COUNTY, S.C. — A woman has been arrested and charged for allegedly passing contraband to a South Carolina inmate in December.

The South Carolina Department of Corrections said 29-year-old Miangel Jaycee Clark was charged with attempting to furnish a prison with contraband and criminal conspiracy after allegedly passing two packages containing “a green leafy substance” to an inmate during a visit at Lee Correctional Institute in Lee County.
