BETHLEHEM, Pa. – A sixth-grade social studies assignment given to students at Nitschmann Middle School was “inappropriate” and “completely unacceptable,” according to a statement from the Bethlehem Area School District Friday night.
BASD shared a message on social media, saying the district was informed of the assignment on Friday, and it was “not from an approved curricular resource.”
