If You Can Find It, and Respect It, You Can Stay for Free at Northern Michigan’s Club Superior

Somewhere in the rugged and remote Keweenaw Peninsula – the very tip of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula – is a legendary outpost known only to locals and adventurous explorers – Club Superior. The cabin is abandoned and is used as an overnight waystation to those who are offroading or snowmobiling through the region.

The Club Superior cabin is blue on the outside and a single room with three cots, some chairs and a table. There’s a stove for cooking and a stove for heat and a few provisions and tableware.
