Driver says snowplows pushed snow off overpass, smashed her Jeep’s windshield

ST. LOUIS (First Alert 4) — Susan Zadrozinski’s 4-wheel drive Jeep Wrangler came in handy to get around on snowy roads this week. But the Jeep is parked and undriveable after it was damaged on Thursday.

She was driving west on I-44 in Fenton Thursday around 4 p.m. when she said she saw MoDOT snowplows clearing snow from the Bowles Avenue overpass. Some of the snow was going up and over the barricade, falling to the interstate below, according to Zadrozinski.

“It hit my windshield while I was driving and it felt like a deer hit my car or a boulder hit my car. It was very loud,” she said…
