Metro’s emergency overflow shelter set to have extended hours

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Office of Homeless Services (OHS) has extended the operating hours of Nashville’s emergency overflow shelter which is set to open Friday at 4 p.m.

Metro’s shelter is open from 4 p.m. to 10 a.m. starting Fri., Jan. 10 through Sun., Jan. 12.

OHS has also partnered with Nashville Rescue Mission and Room In The Inn to provide shelter to those in need during the day, they will be open until 3 p.m. daily. Guests can then move into the overflow shelter when it reopens…
