Chilling visuals from Los Angeles reveal deserted and charred vehicles obstructing major streets as citizens escaped the catastrophic wildfires .
During a visit by Daily Express US on Friday evening, Sunset Boulevard, a principal artery in the fire-stricken Palisades, was jammed with Teslas and other severely damaged cars.
Bulldozers were deployed to shove aside dozens of stranded vehicles to clear a path amid attempts to subdue the inferno earlier this week. The Palisades Fire, labeled one of America’s most devastating natural catastrophes , erupted on Tuesday, January 7, forcing residents to vacate rapidly as it spread at an extraordinary rate, leading to massive property loss in a locale averaging home values of $4 million.

“This is Sunset near Palisades Drive – so this was one of the main evacuation arteries and as you can see a lot of the cars got backed up,” stated Los Angeles Firefighter Lyndsey Lantz while surveying the Pacific Palisades area with Daily Express US. “Things weren’t moving and people stuck in the front ultimately started getting out of their cars, just trapping everyone here so a lot of these cars were abandoned.”
“You can see some of them have been pushed over by our fire dozers so our engines could get through and fight the fire and then you can also see over there some of them were burned, after all of that happened as well.”…
