A self-unloading cargo ship carrying 45,000 tons of solar salt got stuck in the Delaware River in Philadelphia this week.
The motor vessel Algoma Verity ran aground a mile north of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge Wednesday night outside the main shipping channel. No one was injured, the Coast Guard said in a release Thursday.
