West Philadelphia has become the focal point of a police investigation following the discovery of a man found deceased on the sidewalk of the Overbrook neighborhood. Early yesterday morning, Philadelphia police responded to the 800 block of North 66th Street when an unresponsive person was reported, according to NBC Philadelphia. The victim, a 67-year-old male whose identity has not been officially released, was found face down, suffering from what was described by Chief Inspector Scott Small as “severe trauma” to his face and head.
