At home to ring in the New Year between a multitude of away games, the Upsala boys’ basketball team lost a heartbreaker in double overtime. They rebounded with away wins over Swanville and Royalton afterward, improving to 6-3.
Braham led by six on Jan. 3 at the half but a 46-point outburst by Upsala sent the game into overtime. Jack Primus made his presence felt by dropping a triple-double on Braham but they fell just short of a fourth straight win.
