TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Warmer temperatures are returning to NE Kansas this afternoon, with highs expected to reach the middle to upper 30s. This should allow for substantial melting of snow across the area, with plenty of sunshine to help aid the process.
Later this evening, isolated rain/snow mix will move through the area, with very little accumulation expected. Any snow that may stick to the ground will likely disappear by Sunday, as temperatures will be above freezing once again on Sunday. Regardless, those of use travelling tonight should be precautious on roadways, as roads will be slick from the combination of melting snow and additional precipitation.
