Boys and Girls champions crowned at BCIAA individual wrestling tournament

READING, Pa. – The second day of the BCIAA individual wrestling tournament wrapped up with 25 boys and girls champions crowned at the Geigle Complex.

Berks Catholic was the boys team champion with six individual titlists and Wilson’s McKaden Speece was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler after winning the 145-pound crown.

“Last year I didn’t get one of those and it burned it burned,” said the Bulldogs’ Speece, a Naval Academy commit. “So in my training I knew what I wanted and staying consistent. For me, what I think is my key to success in my training and everything in my technique and everything. So it’s working towards my goal. That’s what I want March and it’s a 2025 PA state champ.”…
