COLUMBIA, S.C. – Charleston Southern Women’s Track and Field competed in their first meet of 2025 on Saturday on the campus of South Carolina. A pair of school records were broken to help fans to showcase what this season can become.
In the 60m, Grenisha Thomas and Austyn Koppe each advanced to the semifinals of the event with Koppe not competing in it while Thomas advanced to the finals and recorded her best time of the three attempts for 5th overall in 7.63 seconds.
In the 60m hurdles, Koppe opened the prelims with a career best time of 8.53 to move up to 3rd all-time in the school records books. Also in the event were Chloe Maé Wilks and Maeva Tahou who advanced to the semifinals. Wilks went on to the finals and had a time of 8.68 for 5th overall and moved up a spot in the school records to 7th all-time…
