MISSOULA — After a back-and-forth opening period of play between the Missoula Big Sky and Missoula Hellgate boys basketball teams, the Knights found a breath of separation in the form of the three-ball.
Quick flurries of triples can swing a game more than any other play in basketball; the Eagles found that out the hard way Saturday afternoon. Three first-quarter triples, two from senior guard Easton Sant and one from junior forward Zane Gillhouse, propelled the Knights to a seven-point lead after the opening quarter.
