Chelsea resident wins $1 million ‘Bonus’

A Chelsea man recently hit it big after buying a lotto ticket at a Marlborough convenience store.

David Soucy is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Bonus 100X” instant ticket game, a spokesperson for the State Lottery Commission said.

Soucy chose the annuity option on his prize, meaning his winnings will be paid out in yearly installments. He received the first of 20 annual payments of $50,000 before taxes and said he plans to go on vacation with the winnings…
