Westport firefighters extricate driver from vehicle

WESTPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — At around 3:05 a.m. Sunday morning, Westport firefighters said they were dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle crash on I-95 near Exit 18.

Initially, Engine 4, Engine 5, Rescue 3, and the Shift Commander were dispatched to the scene, then the police were advised to assist, according to the Westport Fire Department.

Crews reported one vehicle off the road with heavy damage and an occupant needing to be extricated.
