CLEVELAND (WANE) – Lauren Ross drilled a game-winning 3-pointer from nearly 30-feet away with 2.5 seconds left to carry Purdue Fort Wayne to a 78-75 win at Cleveland State.
The Mastodons remain undefeated in Horizon League play at 8-0. The win also marks Maria Marchesano’s first win over the League preseason favorite in her head coaching tenure, while also snapping a 29-game home winning streak for Cleveland State.
