Michigan school shooter’s mom accuses prosecutor of media bias, secret deals

PONTIAC, MI — Media bias in violation of a judge’s order and claims of secret, undisclosed immunity agreements are among allegations being leveled against the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office.

Royal Oak-based attorney Michael R. Dezsi made the claims in a court filing and press release aimed at seeking freedom for 46-year-old Jennifer Crumbley, the mother of Oxford High shooter Ethan Crumblely.

She and her husband, 48-year-old James Crumbley, are currently serving a minimum of 10 years in prison after being separately convicted by juries on four counts of involuntary manslaughter after failing to intervene before their mentally disturbed son opened fire on classmates, killing four on Nov. 30, 2021…
