DALLAS This week should see a slow climb to warmer temperatures, peaking on Friday, but arctic air will cause temperatures to plunge with highs in the 30s and 40s.

What we know:

Early this week, highs will be in the 50s with lows at night below freezing through Wednesday. Then highs will be in the mid 60s by Friday before the arctic air reaches us.
