GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – History was made at the Mesa County Justice Center today.
Not everyone can afford attorney fees, but a new paraprofessional sworn in on Monday in Mesa County is trying to change that.
Jessica Sweeney, a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional, said, “It’s very expensive to be able to go to court and to represent yourself is very difficult, so it’s nice to be able to have another alternative for someone that might be seeking help that can’t afford it.”…
