LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) – The owners of a local bar have filed a $5 million lawsuit against Norfolk Southern Railway Company and Norfolk Southern Corp. regarding the February 3, 2023, train derailment.
In their lawsuit, Kelly Likovich and Terry Berresford, who are married, said the derailment destroyed their business, the State Line Tavern, and personal income. The State Line Tavern is located at 51962 East Taggert Street in East Palestine.
The two also noted that they own a rental property on E. Taggert Street, which they say is now vacant and “unrentable.”…
