Demetrius Antwon Ragland, 37, of Atlanta, is accused of cutting a hole through the exterior siding and a metal wall with a concrete saw at the rear of the BP gas station at 155 Veterans Memorial Highway in Mableton on Jan. 10 at 1 a.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Once inside, Ragland took 73 packs of Newport cigarettes and 100 lighters from the store. Ragland also possessed a large screwdriver which was used to pry open the exterior door to an ATM machine, according to the warrant.
Ragland is charged with burglary – second degree; possession of tools; and criminal damage – second degree. He was arrested on Jan. 10 at 3:50 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
