Elkton falls to Delaware’s Caravel Academy 62-60

ELKTON — Elkton suffered its second loss of the season on Monday evening in out-of-state action.

The Golden Elks fell to Delaware’s Caravel Academy 62-60. The Elks held a 33-27 lead at the half. The Buccaneers outscored Elkton 35-27 in the final 16 minutes of play. Elkton’s offense was led by K.J. Minter, who finished with a game-high 32 points, including 21 points in the first half. Dominik Watson finished with seven points, while Makye Minter added six for the Golden Elks.
