CHAPEL HILL — Nash County’s Anita Moore attended the inaugural North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association Executive Assistant Institute last week, a symposium designed to promote successful executive assistants through mentoring, resources and training.
During SEAI, assistants attended classes to gain a more complete understanding of the office of sheriff, association resources, communications, ethics, conflict management, firearms laws, public records laws and personal resiliency.
