Detention officer charged for allegedly selling tobacco to Gaston County inmates

GASTONIA, N.C. (WBTV) – A detention officer was charged on Monday after allegedly selling tobacco to inmates in Gaston County.

Reports stated that on Monday, Jan. 13, a former Gaston County Sheriff’s Office employee, Dior Adams, was charged with providing and selling tobacco products to inmates.
