Authorities in San Bernardino County have made significant advancements in a burglary case that crossed city lines late last year. According to an update provided by the Sheriff’s Department, three Los Angeles residents are now facing additional charges after they were linked to a second Loma Linda home burglary.
On December 13, 2024, Kenny Xaver Warren, 37, Kwan Isiah Smith, 27, and Jerone Markel Pennington, 28, allegedly shattered a rear sliding glass door to gain entry to a residence on the 10000 block of Avalon Way, making off with firearms and other valuables, as per the SBSD Central. Their apprehension followed a string of events involving a gray Audi SUV, identifiable attire, and video footage that helped tie them to the crimes. Now, it has been revealed that these suspects were furthermore in possession of property stolen from a separate residence on Meyer Street, thus implicating them in yet another burglary.
The additional charges for residential burglary and conspiracy to commit a felony come while the suspects are still held at West Valley Detention Center without bail, as detailed by the SBSD Central.
