An Oak Hill man drinking and playing video games with his friends Sunday blamed them for his poor life decisions causing an argument which resulted in him shooting one of them , the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said.
Nicholas Gant, 23, grazed the 27-year-old victim in the head as they struggled on the ground, who in turn pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed Gant in the abdomen, investigating deputies wrote in an arrest report.
Gant was initially charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon because deputies believed he missed when he shot the victim. However, deputies later learned that the victim also went to the hospital after discovering that he had been grazed by the bullet on the right side of the head, the arrest report states…
