A new mural honoring the city’s world-renowned fame in the space race will welcome visitors to downtown Houston .
Visit Houston , the city’s tourism branch, unveiled a new piece of art in the form of a giant astronaut floating behind big yellow letters spelling out “Houston” that was placed on the new Norton Rose Fulbright tower at 1550 Lamar St, previously known as 1550 on the Green by developer Skanska.
