Preparations are underway for the 3rd annual Lake Charles Chuck Eats Restaurant Week! This is a foodie event that’s scheduled to take place from Jan. 17-26, 2024. Southwest Louisiana, prepare for a culinary adventure that will set your taste buds on fire! It will be just as good as ever, and we’ve got all the event details!
This 10-day event showcases the best of Southwest Louisiana’s culinary scene, offering locals and visitors a chance to explore the unique flavors that define the region. With over 40 participating restaurants, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Participating restaurants will offer special prix fixe menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. These menus feature multi-course meals at set prices, making it easier than ever to enjoy expertly crafted dishes while discovering new favorites. From gourmet seafood to down-home Southern cooking, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
According to Visit Lake Charles , last year’s event was a resounding success. In 2024, Chuck Eats attracted 92,881 pageviews on ChuckEats.org —a 28% increase from the previous year. The campaign generated 19,331 clicks to individual restaurant offers and saw a 41% rise in out-of-town participants compared to 2023. Visitors also played a major role, accounting for 18% of spending at participating restaurants. On average, out-of-town diners spent $76 per person, making the event a key driver of economic activity.
