ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A precautionary boil water advisory was issued overnight Tuesday morning in Wildwood due to operational problems at a plant.
According to Missouri American Water, the advisory was issued around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. The advisory is expected to be in effect for approximately 48 hours.
Missouri American Water advises that water used for drinking or cooking should be brought to a rolling boil for 3 minutes. Water is fine for other non-consumable uses.
