21-year-old, Benjamin Jack Dresbach of Kensington has been arrested and charged in connection with the Monday, January 13, 2025 death of 29-year-old Trevor Dean Van Devander.
According to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD): “At approximately 5:40 p.m., 2nd District officers responded to the 3900 block of Franklin Street in Kensington for the report of a shooting that just occurred. Upon arrival, officers located Van Devander of Sykesville, with gunshot wounds. Van Devander was pronounced dead at the scene.
Van Devander has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be conducted to officially determine the cause and manner of death…
