‘This place is a blessing’: Shelters extend hours as frigid temperatures hit Tri-State

COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) – As frigid temperatures grip the Tri-State area, shelters are extending their hours to provide refuge for those without a place to go.

Following Governor Andy Beshear’s declaration of a state of emergency, the Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky has been operating around the clock to accommodate as many people as possible.
