STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — Newly obtained police body and dash camera videos are shedding light on the crash, the investigation and the arrest of Mackenzie Shirilla, the now 20-year-old serving a 15-year to life sentence after she was found guilty of killing her boyfriend and friend in a crash in 2022.
Strongsville police found the devastating scene early on July 31, 2022 with three unresponsive people trapped inside a mangled Toyota Camry. Medics rushed Shirilla, who was the driver, to the hospital. Her boyfriend, 20-year-old Dominic Russo, and friend, 19-year-old Davion Flanagan, died at the scene.
