‘2 amazing people’ died together in Dauphin County house fire

The cause of a fire that killed a long-married couple last week in Dauphin County and destroyed their home remains unknown because of the extent of the damage, police said Tuesday.

Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Megan Frazer said the home in the 3300 block of Fishing Creek Valley Road in Middle Paxton was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived about 1:20 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9. Police are waiting until the victims are forensically identified before releasing their names.
