AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Breezy conditions will set in behind a dry weak frontal passage today. Gusts are expected to reach 10-20 mph at times out of the northwest tomorrow afternoon and out of the west 20-30 mph by Thursday afternoon. Lows tonight will bottom out in the upper 20s and low 30s.

Below average temperatures will continue Wednesday with highs in the lower and middle 50s. A modest warm-up is expected starting Friday lasting into the weekend with highs warming to near average in the upper 50s to near 60°. Below to near freezing temperatures are expected most mornings this week in the mid to upper 20s and low 30s through Friday.

A new storm system moves in Friday night into Saturday, so you may encounter some rain for your outdoor plans this upcoming weekend, but temperatures will be slightly warmer than average with highs in the lower 60s Saturday. Mornings will be in the upper 30s and low/mid 40s Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances become much more isolated Sunday into Monday with a big cold snap for the beginning of next weel…
