Cahlik, Bay’s Edge are featured on Cleveland Boat Show fishing stages

PORT CLINTON – Winter’s here, and while the ice fishing is still a few days away, Lake Erie anglers and lots of local boat and marine companies in Ottawa County will head to the four-day Progressive Cleveland Boat Show at the I-X Center in Cleveland beginning Thursday, Jan. 16.

One of the major exhibitors will be Bay’s Edge Bait & Tackle in Port Clinton, also featuring its new line of Dead Eye Lures, a fleet of charter boats, a fish cleaning service and luxury condominiums.

Owner Mark Cahlik has been a Lake Erie fishing guide for more than three decades, and his expertise will be evident at the Cleveland Boat Show this winter. Cahlik will be one of the headlining stage show speakers this week. He will lead the seminar, “Big Boards and Little Baits. Running Jet Diving Planers and Shallow Diving Crankbaits Behind Big Boards for Walleye.”…
