Skiff of Snow Causes Slick Roads in Northern Green Country

A light wintry mix in southern Kansas caused slick roads to develop on Tuesday evening. While there were no official snow reports, doppler radar estimates of up to an inch of snow were noted.

As of late Tuesday evening, the roads were being reported as snow covered and/or icy for areas north of the OK/KS border.

While additional precipitation is not expected as we head into Wednesday morning, areas along and especially north of the OK/KS border could have slick roads persist as temperatures plummet to the teens in those areas. Be especially cautious when driving over bridges or…..
