PHOENIX — An elderly man allegedly shot an elderly woman and then himself in north Phoenix, police said.
Phoenix police were called to a house near Union Hills Drive and Central Avenue around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday to check on the occupants. When officers got to the house, they found a 65-year-old woman who died of what appeared to be a gunshot wound. They also found a 69-year-old man who also died from what police believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
