Philadelphia man admits spitting at prosecutor during Montgomery County Court hearing

NORRISTOWN — A Philadelphia man awaiting sentencing for attempting to rob a man in Lower Merion Township has admitted to additional charges that he spat at a Montgomery County prosecutor while disrupting a pretrial hearing in the attempted robbery case.

Cymeir Rashawn Geiger, 24, of the 2800 block of North Hutchinson Street, pleaded guilty to a felony charge of aggravated harassment by a prisoner in connection with an Aug. 19, 2024, incident at the county courthouse.

With the charge, prosecutors with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General alleged Geiger caused another person to come into contact with his saliva by spitting. Deputy Attorney General Katherine A. McDermott is handling the case…
