Polk County Public Schools improved its graduation rate by nearly four percentage points last year, but the district remains in the state’s bottom 10.
The Florida Department of Education this week released 2023-24 high school graduation rates for the 67 counties and six other districts. Polk’s graduation rate was 82.2%, well below the state average of 89.7%.
