Downtown Lynchburg Restaurant Week revived to boost local businesses

Downtown Lynchburg’s culinary scene is preparing for the return of Restaurant Week, which starts this Friday and runs through the following Sunday.

The 10-day event, organized by the Downtown Lynchburg Association (DLA), is a revival of a new tradition that took a hiatus last year. The event aims to support local restaurants during what is typically their slowest month.

“We’re really excited to bring Restaurant Week back,” James Ford, DLA’s marketing director, said. “It’s not just about creating exposure for these amazing restaurants but also driving foot traffic into their businesses. Supporting local dining is crucial, especially during January, which can be a challenging time for the industry.”…
