A Clermont man was arrested after spitting on his sister and causing about $9,500 in damage to the home his mother tried to sell.
An officer responded to an argument in progress at 1315 Willow Wind Dr. around 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, according to an arrest report from the Clermont Police Department.
The officer had already been at the residence earlier that day regarding 64-year-old Robin Cromer. He was sitting in his front yard yelling across the street at his neighbor. The neighbor called because Cromer was threatening to “kill” him and had just thrown a glass bottle toward him. At the end of the call, the neighbor did not want to press charges, so the officer left the scene after speaking with both parties, the report said.
About 20 minutes later, dispatch requested law enforcement respond to the same address for an altercation in progress. The officer returned to the residence and met with multiple parties who were owners or residents of the address. They were identified as Cromer, his mother and his sister, the report said…
