PORT ST LUCIE, Fla — A DUI traffic stop in Port St. Lucie landed a father in jail along with his son after the latter disobeyed Florida’s new ‘Halo Law.’
The father, 57-year-old Zachary Dalphe, was being detained by a Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) officer around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, when his son Quran Dalphe, 26, interjected himself into the investigation, disobeying orders to step away from the scene, according to PSLPD. The incident happened at Tropical Suites on Port St Lucie Blvd and SE Floresta Dr.
