Chase Bonta has landed himself in the company of not only the best current high school football players in New York state, but he has also joined an elite fraternity in the history of Jamestown High School.
For when the New York State Sportswriters Association announced its Class AA All-State teams Wednesday, the 5-foot-9, 195-pound junior found his name on the First-Team, a testament to him turning in one of the best seasons in the annals of the Red & Green.
Selected as a linebacker, Bonta racked up 119 total tackles, including 14 for loss, and forced two fumbles and recovered another, which helped Jamestown to a berth in the Section VI championship game at Highmark Stadium…
