DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Northside Methodist head football coach Stefan Gainey is leaving the Knights to take over as the head coach at Abbeville Christian Academy.
“Knight Nation! It has been an honor to serve a campus full of amazing students,” Gainey said in a statement. “I took over as head football coach knowing we had a very long and difficult road. We were able to accomplish some incredible things inside the program. Your boys persevered against all odds. I’m proud of the kids that left it on the field, including our great cheer and band squads.
